Iranian nuclear talks continue with Tehran that focuses on sanction assistance

Vienna: Indirect talks between Iran and the United States while saving the 2015 Iranian nuclear agreement continued on Monday with Tehran focus on one side of the original bargain, lifting sanctions against it, despite a little progress on its atomic activities.
The seventh round talks, the first under the new Hardline president of Iran Ebrahim Relisi, ended 10 days ago after adding some new Iranian demands to the functioning text.
Western forces say progress is too slow and negotiators have “weeks not the moon” left before the 2015 agreement becomes meaningless.
The small remnants of the agreement, which raised sanctions against Tehran in exchange for restrictions on its atomic activities.
Then-President Donald Trump pulled Washington from it in 2018, forcing US sanctions back, and Iran then violated many nuclear restrictions on the agreement and continued to encourage them.
“If we work hard in the days and weeks ahead we must have a positive result.
It will be very difficult, it will be very difficult.
Difficult political decisions must be taken in Tehran and in Washington,” The Talks’.
Coordinator, European Union envoy Enrique Mora, said at a press conference.
He spoke shortly after the meeting of the remaining parties for an agreement – Iran, Russia, China, France, England, Germany and the European Union – officially kicked the round on Monday night.
“There is a sense of urgency in all delegates that this negotiation must be completed in a relatively reasonable period of time.
Again, I will not limit but we talk about weeks, not about the moon,” Mora said.
Iran refused to meet directly with US officials, which meant that other parties had to shuttle between the two parties.
The United States has repeatedly expressed frustration in this format, said it slowed down the process, and Western officials were still suspicious of Iran only playing for time.
The 2015 agreement extends Iran’s time needs to get enough fissile material for nuclear bombs, if you choose, up to at least one year than about two to three months.
Most experts say that the current time is less than before the agreement, even though Iran says it only wants to master nuclear technology for civilian needs.
The end of the road “The most important problem for us is to reach the point where, first, Iranian oil can be easily sold and without obstacles,” said Media Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amirabdolbahian.
Mora, however, said the appointment of sanctions and Iran’s nuclear restrictions would be discussed.
Iran affirms all US sanctions must be revoked before the steps are taken on the nuclear side, while Western negotiators say nuclear steps and sanctions must be balanced.
US sanctions have cut Iranian oil exports, the main source of income.
Tehran did not disclose data, but the assessment based on shipping and other sources suggested falling from around 2.8 million barrels per day (BPD) in 2018 to 200,000 BPD.
One survey puts exports at 600,000 BPD in June.
Mora said he decided to reorganize the talks during the holidays of officials between Christmas and New Year not to lose time, but he added that the talks would stop for three days on Friday “because the facility would not be available”, referring “to a luxury hosting hotel Great meeting.
When the seventh round was wrapped, combining several Iranian demands, negotiators from France, England and Germany said in a statement: “This only brought us back closer to the conversation standing in June”, when the previous round ended.
“We quickly reaches the end of the road for this negotiation, “they added.
