Dubai: Iran will take steps to lift the sanction of “tyranny” imposed by the United States, the Shiite Cleric hardline, Ebrahim Relisi, said on Tuesday after winning the ratification of the country’s highest leader to become president.
Former US President, Donald Trump, expelled Iran’s nuclear agreement with six strengths three years ago and regraved sanctions that had destroyed the Iranian economy.
“We will try to lift tyranny sanctions imposed by America,” Relision, who served on Thursday, said in a television broadcast speech, added that the government would try to improve the living conditions suffered under sanctions.
Iran and six powers have been in talks since April to revive the nuclear pact.
But Iran and West officials said that significant gaps remained.
The sixth round of indirect talks between Tehran and Washington was postponed on June 20, two days after the Relision was elected president.
The parties involved in negotiations have not announced when the next talk round in Vienna will continue.
The highest leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has the last word about all the country’s problems, but the change of the President will eliminate moderate influence on policy making carried out by the Pragmatic Retailers, Hassan Rouhani, since 2013.
