Tehran: Iran’s second largest airline, Mahan Air, said it had been hit by a cyber attack on Sunday, the latest in several company targeting.
“The water system is a masa water has experienced a new attack,” said the company in a statement.
“It has become a target on several occasions because of its important position in the country’s aviation industry.” All of his flights are on schedule, the statement added, but the company’s website fell.
“Our internet security team is to thwart a cyber attack,” A spokesman for Amir-Hossein Zolanvari told State Television.
Mahan water is the main Iranian and second largest private airline after Iran’s national carrier water.
Already on the black list of Iranian companies targeted by US sanctions since 2011.
In addition to domestic networks, it also serves destinations in Europe and Asia.
Iran last month accused Israel and the US from a cyber attack on the gasoline distribution system which caused catastrophe to national fuel pumps.
Meanwhile, Israeli internet infrastructure was hit by a cyber attack by the Black Shadow Hacking Group, including fighting the largest Israeli LGBTQ dating site and insurance company.
The hacking group has not recognized the link to Iran, but the attack is widely seen as part of a secret war throughout the year between Israel and Iran including physical attacks on ships and online cyber offensive movements.
