Iran’s rights defender was sentenced to 8 years in prison, destroying: husband

Paris: The Iranian court has sentenced the human rights campaign to lead Narges Mohammadi for eight years in prison and more than 70 eyelashes, her husband announced on Sunday, following his sudden arrest in November last year.
Her husband Taghi Rahmani, based in France, wrote on Twitter that the sentence was distributed after hearing which lasted only five minutes.
Details of the verdict and case of them remain unclear.
