Baghdad: Residents of Iraqi Village have killed 11 people in retaliation for deadly attacks claimed by the Islamic State group, said an Iraqi security official.
The majority of the Shia Al-Rashad village in East Diyala Province killed 11 people on Wednesday in the Sunni neighboring hamlet dominated by Nahr al-Imam, security officials who preferred to remain anonymously.
The attackers accused the resident of Nahr Al-Imam behind the attack on Al-Rashad the day before where 15 people were killed, an increase from victims 11 reported in the 26th year of people were injured in Tuesday’s attack on Al -Rashad, according to the latest numbers from the source security.
Sunni militants are groups – those who consider Shia to be “heretics” – claiming Al-Rashad’s attack on Wednesday night.
Al-Rashad is known to have many members of the security forces among their residents and most of the population filled by members of the Tamim Tribe, from where the Governor Diyala praised.
Iraqi fiqi council, authority about Islamic jurisprudence for Sunni in the country, condemned the “terrorist attack” in Al-Rashad, and “terrible revenge” at Nahr al-Imam.

Iraq stated that defeat was December 2017, but a low-level rebellion had survived in the country, lit at various points.
A UN report earlier this year estimates that around 10,000 fighters remain active in Iraq and Syria.
