SULAIMANIYA / Baghdad: Iraq, Iraqi forces and Pethpga Kurdish fighters have recaptured a village in North Iraq on Monday after the militant of the Islamic State took him on the previous day, the security and police source said.
The Ministry of Interior forces of the Iraqi elite and Peshmerda Kurda fighters were managed on early Monday to control the village of Luhaiban, although guerrillas had left several houses trapped with explosives, said sources.
In a separate attack on Sunday, Islamic militants killed four Peshmerga soldiers and a civilian, and injured six others when they attacked Salem Qara Village in North Iraq, security sources said.
The Ministry of Affairs Peshmerga said in a statement that the attack caused the victim, but did not confirm the victim.
Peshmerga is a military force of the Ock Kurdistan autonomous region.
One Colonel Peshmerga said Islamic state fighters used hit-and-run tactics in night attacks in their position.
