Bhubaneswar: 4-year-old student BA LLB (Honors) Of course from four legal universities held a demonstration in front of the Office of Deputy Chancellor of the University of Utkal here on Monday in protests against the semester exam and publication of results.
They also demanded that the university conduct a delayed semester exam online.
Students belonging to the University of Law College, Bhubaneswar; Madhusudan Law College, Cuttack; Capital Law College, Bhubaneswar and Law College, Cuttack is part of protests.
“Many law schools have promoted students based on signs of an internal exam or conducting online tests.
Why does the Utkal University have no clarity about this problem?” Asked Deepak Kumar Mohanty, a student.
He said the university had to issue notices about the online semester exam for first year students to fourth.
It must issue marksheets on November 30 and do classes for the current semester (third, fifth, seventh and ninth).
The students submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Chancellor of the University of Sabita Acharya about this issue.
Chairman of the Utkal University Board of PG Basant Kumar Mallik said they would make a decision at the meeting to be held on Tuesday.
“After discussing this in detail, we will make a decision whether the examination will be carried out in online or offline mode,” Mallik said.
Students have protested similarly on August 23.
