Vadodara/ / Anand: The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) will present a new certification course in corporate social responsibility (CSR) for working professionals with a particular emphasis on social and community growth under its own management development ventures (MDP).
The very first batch of this six-month class will start on June 17.
“Despite having a huge hype generated, CSR is gradually losing its sheen as it’s failed to meet stakeholders, particularly communities and civil society.
Although many factors are responsible for this, among the main motives is the expert proficiency of CSR executives and managers,” said professor Sudhir Kumar Sinha, chair, MDP in IRMA and class organizer.
“We’ll engage with businesses to develop and strengthen expert ability of CSR managers/executives.
It is custom-designed to instruct them and supply them with sufficient discipline knowledge and managerial abilities to enhance their knowledge base,” he explained.
IRMA can also be extending the reach of this route to working practitioners in NGOs in addition to armed forces.
“During the program, the participants can learn how to float CSR to produce shared price, they’ll be introduced to theories and strategies of societal improvement.
In addition, they know how CSR may be ordered, quantifiable and strategic philanthropy,” he explained.
