MUMBAI: Bombay high court on Tuesday directed the state government to answer indicating whether incentives provided to hawkers suffering because of this Covid-19 pandemic may also be provided to retail dealers. The judges also documented that continuing violations by e-traders were introduced into the notice of their state authorities but no action had been required to prevent it. They guided the country to also suggest what measures are accepted and could be removed from e-commerce traders supplying non-essential products. “When the state authorities finds such a breach, an act has to be taken immediately against these traders violating the stated SOP,” they added. The judges have submitted the hearing prior to the normal court on June 21.
