Kabul: Reducing the threat caused by ISIS in Afghanistan, the Taliban stated that said that the group would soon be suppressed.
“We do not mention Daesh threats, but we call it a headache,” Minister of Information and Culture of Taliban Zabiullah Mujahid was quoted by Tolo News.
“This creates headaches in several places but is immediately taken in every event; (they) have been chased and their protection places are found.” This came when the Taliban earlier this week was reported to carry out an operation in the northern suburbs of Kabul, killing three terrorists from the ISIS-Khorasan branch.
Local news reported that the Taliban had conducted an operation to destroy ISIS-K hiding.
This operation was carried out after a suicide bomber exploded the material of his slagers at the Eid Gah Mosque where the Taliban authorities and civilians had gathered for the prayer ceremony of the mothers who were killed from Zabiullah Mujahid.
The explosion reportedly left more than ten people dead and more than 20 more injured.
Last month, the US chairman of the joint head General Mark Milley said there was a “real possibility” that Al-Qaeda or ISIS could rearrange in Afghanistan in the next six to 36 months.
At the hearing of the house armed service committee, Milley said that “at this time”, the threat of terrorists from Afghanistan was smaller than in 9/11, but “these conditions can be set for al-Qaeda reconstitution and / or.
ISIS”.
