Kolkata: The place where Abhay Charan de – who later became a globally famous spiritual leader Srila Prabhupada – born, was finally obtained by the international community for Krishna’s awareness (iskcon).
The 125th birthday birthday celebration Prabhupada began here on Wednesday when the Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee inaugurated a newly acquired space virtually from Panagarh.
The original house is no longer because the small cottage appears in place, but the 150-year-old jackfruit tree that houses the house is still standing.
Iskcon has tried to obtain property for 43 years and can finally rehabilitate 16 families who have lived there for several generations after Mrs.
Prabhupada’s lap has sold the place to them in the 1920s.
This 4-cottah room has turned into a spiritual park.
A trace of the Prabhupada trace has been carved on a rock under the jackfruit tree which will be the center of the Spiritual Park appeal.
“Prabhupada was born here on September 1, 1896.
It was quite seeded 63, Tollygunj Road, which we now have changed into a peaceful spiritual room,” said Vice President Isock here, Radharaman Das.
“As a vibrant young man, he naturally turned towards the freedom.
He was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose,” said Das.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Virtually released a warning coin in Prabhupada on Wednesday to celebrate the opportunity.
