Islamic State Group Menace Rebound in Afghanistan

Doha: The Taliban barely completed their takeover from the capital of Afghanistan Kabul when local affiliates of the Islamic State group struck, sowing Mayhem with a bloody airport attack.
It was a symbolic attack for the Jihadist organization, highlighting his long life and triggering worries in the West.
More than 100 Afghan civilians and 13 US soldiers were killed in August 26 attacks at Kabul Airport – the deadliest violence against US forces in Afghanistan since 2011, destroying difficult evacuation efforts.
It was also the most bloody attack on the US claimed to be a group affiliate, namely an Islamic state in Khorasan (IS-K), coming to a very sensitive moment for withdrawal forces.
Coinciding with the beginning of the trial of those accused of arranging the attack on November 13, 2015 against Paris which was claimed to produce 130 deaths.
The bloody massacre in the French capital marked its peak called “Caliphate” that stradded Iraq and Syria between 2014 and 2019.
At the end of the week, the world will also mark the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001 Attacks which are the largest terror attacks in the West lately, claimed by rivals Al-Qaeda Group.
The resurrection in Afghanistan now seems to be inspiring radical jihadists from all lines.
“The Western Intelligence Agency should have been with a high warning considering the commemoration of the upcoming 20/11 attacks, it is always a period for the inspired attack, and the Taliban victory in Afghanistan,” Katherine Zimmerman, an analyst at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, told by AFP.
“Jihadis has called for more attacks in the West.” Because the collapse called Caliphate after a multinational military attack, the threat of jihadists has changed far with now may not have the capacity to attack in the heart of Europe as in 2015, analysts told AFP.
But the group reach continues to be felt through affiliates in Yemen, Nigeria and Mali, among others who continue to plan attacks, while remaining hyperactive on social media, drawing in followers.
The Western intelligence agency from Langley to Whitehall to Auckland has been proven to be able to eradicate the threat of wolf striker alone, online radicalization, which attacks with improvised weapons such as knives or vehicles.
Recently on Friday, a Sri Lankan striker who has been known as a police officer since 2016 and has propaganda at his home, injuring seven people in Auckland, New Zealand.
The attack at Kabul Airport was increasingly surprising because it succeeded despite the warning of US President Joe Biden that intelligence agency was aware of the plot.
“The inability of Washington to prevent the attacks announced publicly has enabled IS-K to strengthen the bloody effectiveness,” said Jean-Pierre Filiu, a professor at the Paris political study institute.
“Face-to-face confrontation of American forces and the Taliban opened the gap in security that could be exploited by Jihadist command.” Whether sympathizers quickly utilize attacks and afterwards.
“Kabul is ours,” proclaimed Pro-Is Hadm Al-Aswar Foundation, reject America and “Taliban Apostates” with the same spirit.
IS-K has become an affiliate group of the most active Islamic State Globally since the beginning of the year, according to an expert on a known organization on Twitter only as Mr.
Q.
Study of Kabul “Popul-K into the political and media spotlight”, he told AFP .
Former US diplomat Jeffrey said that began training jihadists for similar attacks outside Iraq and Syria, and possibly outside the Middle East, between 2019 and 2020.
“There must be at least some risk of repetition of attacks in Europe and, as usual, attacks by inspired individuals By Isis, “Jeffrey added which was a special envoy for international military intervention.
The Western government is now warning of self-satisfaction.
During a visit to Iraq at the end of August, French President Emmanuel Macron called on the nations that were threatened with “did not lower our guards, because Daesh remained a threat”.
After the attack on US forces in Kabul, and after US troops were killed only three were fighters, Biden clearly told the group: “We are not finished with you”.
Zimmerman analyst warns that it is left unchecked “it is not difficult to imagine how terror threats can grow in Afghanistan and spill to the territory and even the West”.
