New Delhi: Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for a series of bomb attacks in Afghanistan targeting the Taliban, terror groups of the AMAAQ news agency on the telegram channel.
“More than 35 Taliban militia members were killed or injured in a series of explosions that occurred (on Saturday and Sunday),” said Al Arabiya quoted the agent.
The explosion targets Taliban vehicles in the city of Jalalabad, the center of Nangarhar Province, Bilal Karimi, the official Taliban Deputy Zabihullah Mujahid, confirmed to the Afghan news outlet on Sunday.
According to Tolo News, the explosion in Kabul on Saturday injured two people and two explosions in Nangarhar injured around 20 people.
