JERUSALEM: Israelis ready for potential unrest before a planned march by Jewish ultranationalists throughout east Jerusalem on Tuesday which may spark Allied protests and clashes with authorities only weeks following an 11-day Gaza war.
The march presents a historical evaluation for Israel’s fragile new government, which was sworn in on Sunday and comprises parties from throughout the political spectrum, for example a little Arab party.
Canceling the march could have started Prime Minister Naftali Bennett along with other members of this coalition to extreme criticism against those who’d see it as a capitulation into Gaza’s militant Hamas rulers.
