Israel faced a call to let Palestine imprisoned attend the funeral

Ramallah: Palestinian activists and human rights groups have asked Israel to enable leading parliamentarians to attend their daughter’s funeral on Tuesday.
Khalida Jarrar, 58, a prominent member of the popular front for Palestinian liberation, has entered and exits the Israeli prison in recent years.
The military court sentenced him to two years in March for being a member of the group that was prohibited.
With the time presented, he will be released in October.
PFLP has armed wings and is considered a terrorist group by Israel and Western countries, but Jarrar has not been involved in the attack.
The Israeli military was recognized in March that he “did not deal with aspects of the organization or military organization.” Jarrar was sentenced to 15 months in 2015 on charges of incitement and membership in PFLP.
He has also been held for months at the time known as administrative detention, where Israel detained Palestinian suspects for a long period of charge at no cost.
His 30-year-old daughter Suha, who worked on gender-related problems and climate change for Al-Haq human rights groups was found dead on Sunday at his home in the city of West Bank Ramallah occupied, the group said.
It does not provide the cause of death.
Al-Haq launched a campaign that called for “direct and unconditional release in Jarrar,” and said it has appealed to other countries and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Entrepreneurs are poured from other activists and rights groups in the online campaign under the #FreeKhalidajarrar tag.
Online petition attracts more than 11,500 signatures.
Israeli officials refused to comment.
New York-based Human Rights Watch said that the arrest of repeated Yarrar was part of the wider crackdown of Israeli about political opposition without violence against the half-century military occupation of land that Palestinians wanted to future countries.
“Hold Khalida for political activism violated freedom of association,” said Omar Shakir, director of the group for Israel and the Palestinian region.
“After repeatedly resisting Khalida for violating his rights, the Israeli authorities should minimally allow him to say goodbye to his daughter.”
