GAZA CITY: The Israeli air force launched air strikes on the Gaza Strip early Wednesday after militants from the uncharted territory delivered incendiary balloons to southern Israel, security sources and witnesses said.
Even the airstrikes and bows marked the first big flare-up involving Israel and Gaza as a ceasefire on May 21 stopped 11 days of heavy fighting that killed 260 Palestinians, based on Gaza government, and 13 individuals in Israel, both the army and police there stated.
