Jerusalem: Prime Minister Nafti Bennett said on Wednesday that new vaccination and restrictions could avoid Israel to other locks, even as Coronavirus infection soared.
“Our goal is that Israel remains open but does not reach a situation where the hospital will say we are full,” he said in a tour of the new vaccination center in Jerusalem.
“We tried to avoid it, and knew when to hit the brakes,” Bennett said.
“To refrain from a harder limit, we will be vaccinated, wear a mask and maintain a distance.” The Bennett government has announced a new restriction package on Tuesday, including those who need a vaccine certificate or negative test to enter places that secure less than 100 people, and masks must wear open spaces that hold more than 100.
Announce new restrictions, the Covid Cabinet Committee warns The very contagious Delta variant of Coronavirus spread quickly and called for Israel to “stop shaking hands, embracing and kissing.” The Ministry of Health has also expanded a list of countries from which arrival is required to quarantine, regardless of vaccination or their test status, to include France, Italy and the United States, among other countries.
During a week and the last half, Israel has recorded an average of more than 2,000 new cases a day, with 229 people in serious conditions – the highest since April.
The increase in infection was a step back after the leading vaccine campaign in the world of Israel advanced to the new Covid-19 case from 10,000 a day to less than 100.
Israel has raised most of Covid restrictions at the beginning of June, but began to pile up some of them next after the resurrection of the case.
Nearly 60 percent of the 9.3 million Israeli people have two shots, most of the Pfizer vaccine / bionech.
But about one million Israelis still refused to vaccinate even though they qualified.
Israel last week launched a booster shot for more than 60s.
It also makes children Semah 12 qualify for inoculation.
