Israel proposed a new restriction to fight a surge in viruses

Jerusalem: Israel is planning a louder health restriction to combat the increase in Covid-19 cases because the Delta variant spreads, the Prime Minister’s office said in a statement on Thursday.
If a new plan is approved by the parliament, only those who are vaccinated or those who have recovered from the Coronavirus will be allowed to take part in the event in the room more than 100 people.
They also have to wear a mask, except for eating and drinking.
This proposal is a combined plan compiled by the Office of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Health and Economics.
The Ministry of Health said it would cut the quarantine time for those who came into contact with infected people and to return residents who were not vaccinated from 10 days to seventh, following a negative test.
Israel became a pioneer in covid-19 inoculation after it obtained millions of doses from Pfizer in return to share broad health data on its impact.
The initial vaccine launch of Pfizer-Biontonech Jab is among the fastest in the world, giving two vaccine doses to more than 55 percent of the population, including around 85 percent of adults.
The case number dropped dramatically, and at the beginning of June Israel stimulates many restrictions.
But soon after, because cases rise, the Ministry of Health imposes the requirements for masks imposed in closed public places.
In the last 24 hours, more than 600 cases have been reported, up from around 200 per day on average a week ago.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett on Wednesday asked Israel to wear masks in public places closed and to avoid travel.
“The vaccine is not enough to fight the Delta variant.
We need residents’ cooperation to defeat Coronavirus without having to wear a new Kuncian,” he said, calling children aged 12 to 16 years to get vaccination too.
