Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett rejected the reopening of the US main diplomatic mission promised for Palestine in Jerusalem, saying there was no room in the city contested for the office.
Trump’s administration closed the US Jerusalem consulate, an office that had been served for many years of the De Facto embassy to Palestine.

Asked about the consulate at a press conference, Bennett at the end of Saturday repeated the position of Israel in Jerusalem.
“There is no room for other American consulates in Jerusalem,” he said.
