Jerusalem: Israel will ask everyone who comes from the United States and 17 other countries to be quarantined starting next week as the country wrestling with a surge in the corrodavirus.
The Ministry of Health issued a journey warning on Tuesday, said all individuals – vaccinated and not divided – arrived from 18 countries must fully quarantine for 14 days effective August 11.
If someone tests the negative for Coronavirus after seven days, they can be released from quarantine.
Countries are the United States, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Iceland, Greece, Ukraine, Iswatini, Botswana, Bulgaria, Tanzania, Malawi, Egypt, Czech Republic, Cuban, Rwanda and Tunisia.
They joined a list of 24 other countries with various travel restrictions on the pandemic, including Britain, Brazil, India, Russia and Turkey.
The Israeli Ministry of Health recorded 3,834 new Coronavirus cases on Tuesday, the highest daily count reached acceleration throughout the month in new infections.
The serious case of Covid-19 has grown from 19 in mid-June to at least 221 despite rapid country vaccination campaigns.
