Jerusalem: Israeli forces on Thursday destroyed the house of a family of Palestinian-American men who were accused of being involved in deadly attacks on Israel in the West Bank in May.
The Associated Press video footage shows the Israeli army forces leveled the house of two floors of Muntasser Shalaby in Turmus Ayya Village with a controlled explosion.
Israel said Shalaby drives May 2 – by shooting at the West Bank who was occupied by Israel which killed Israeli students Judah Guetta and injured the other two.
He was arrested a few days after the attack.
His wife, Sanaa Shalaby, told the AP they were alienated for several years and that he spent most of his time in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he married three other women in an unofficial Islamic ceremony.
The whole family has US citizenship.
The Israeli Supreme Court enforced the demolition command in a decision last month.
This case caught attention to Israeli punishment on the demolition of the Palestinian house that attacked Israel.
Israeli officials said the demolition blocked the attack in the future, while groups of rights viewed them as a form of collective punishment.
The US State Department has urged the termination of the demolition of the house.
