He described “Omega Drill” everyday, named the fictitious virus strain, as a precautionary measure to ensure Israel was prepared for “any scenario”.

“Israel is safe and protected.
To maintain this, and to protect the normal survival, we must continue to monitor the situation and prepare for any scenario,” said the statement.
The statement did not say anything to show the government believed that the deadly coronavirus tension was close.
It also did not mention the potential flare-up in battle with the enemy among scenarios for practice.
Bunkers were built more than a decade ago because of concerns about Iran’s nuclear program and missile exchanges with Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
