Jerusalem: Israeli Parliament has jumped with the latest trends in digital artwork and presented the country’s new president with a digital copy of his father’s office oath from the previous 38 years.
The Knesset presented Isaac Herzog with a non-fungible (NFT) token in front of his inauguration as the 11th president of Israel on Wednesday.
Non-fungible NFT tokens use the encryption technology version used to secure the cryptocurrency to create one-of-similar digital objects.
This technology provides digital creations such as certificates of authenticity, allowing ownership of something that can be replicated without stopping.
This type of newly encrypted digital artwork becomes popular and few are rarely sold for millions of dollars.
Knesset technology and the computing division of exploring an office oath signed by former president, Chaim Herzog, the father of a new president was exiled, from the parliamentary archive and created an encrypted digital image.
The NFT was loaned to the president’s residence and served to President Herzog before his inauguration.
Parliament said in a statement that Herzog “was seen touched by the movement.” “Based on the global success of NFT, it is possible that the file was loaned to the President’s house on a safe and encrypted mobile device that was worth millions of dollars,” Knesset said in a statement.
