New Delhi: India Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Wednesday managed to test the third long duration of the liquid propellant vikas engine for the event’s event, the country’s first manned mission.
“On July 14, 2021, ISRO has succeeded in carrying out the third long duration of the liquid propellant vikas machine for the Core L110 fluid stage of the MK III GSLV vehicle with human ranking, as part of the machine qualification requirements for the program, ISRO is stated in the release.
ISRO Planning to fly two GSLV-MK III rocket without crew before sending Indian astronauts in the third rocket.
“The machine was fired for 240 seconds at the Propulsion Isro (IPRC) complex machine test facility, Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu.
Machine’s performance meets the objectives of testing and machine parameters very suitable with predictions during the entire test duration, “said the space agency in the statement.
The purpose of the event program is to show the ability to send humans to low earth orbites on Indian launcher vehicles and bring them back to earth .
The State Union Minister (Independent Load) of the Space, said Jitendra Singh in February this year that the first unmanned mission was planned on December 202 and the second unmanned 2022-23 was attended by a human spaceflight demonstration.
