ThiruvananThapuram: The Petitioner in the row of controversial children’s adoption, Anupama S Chandran, has demanded that criminal cases are registered against the Kerala State Council for the glory of Children (KSCCW) Secretary General Shiju Khan to help human trafficking.
The child, who was handed over for foster care with Andhra’s partner, had been brought back to the capital on Sunday and had been located in Nirmala Shishu Bhavan in Pallayam.
“We have known that there is no license for the committee to provide children in adoption.
Without a license, it is none other than the child’s trade.
After colluding all these illegal things and pushing other innocent couples to be troubled, it was surprising why the police did not register Criminal Case against Shiju Khan.
I won’t even think of ending protests until a registered case, “he said, adding that he would approach the minister’s chairman who was seeking action against Khan.
Checked that the KSCCW license issued by the State Adoption Supervisory Authority to function as an adoption institution has ended in 2016 itself, and failed to produce a new license before the family court considered the case.
Meanwhile, the team consisting of police officers and KSCCW officials left for Andhra Pradesh brought back children to the state on Sunday late at night.
The team took child custody of the Andhra partner from Vijayawada, for whom the child was given to temporary adoption as part of the legal adoption process.
The Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Thiruvananthapuram, has ordered KSCCW on November 17 to bring back children within five days.
The DNA test will be done after collecting samples from the child and Anupama and his partner B Ajit Kumar.
The test will be carried out at the Biotechnology Center of Rajiv Gandhi, where the results are expected within two days.
After the results revealed that the child belonged to Anupama and Ajith Kumar, the child would be handed over to them.
Until then, children will be under care and protection of district child welfare officers.
Anupama has carried out an unlimited attack in front of the KSCCW.
