It must be the first task of the new flight minister: HC

New Delhi: The Bombay High Court on Friday said that the Ministry of Civil Aviation had to formulate uniform policies to name and rename the airport names throughout the country.
The court said that the New Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia must provide a top priority for this task.
“If there is a new policy that is still in the draft stage, finishing it now.

“We want to know the position of the current policy design? For this naming problem (from the airport), we took the state government for the task last month because there was a meeting that violated the Covid-19 protocol with almost 25,000 people.

Last month, people from local Agri and the fishermen community protested to rename the international airport in Navi Mumbai after final activists and parliament D B Patil.
