Rome: Worried by the spread of the Islamic State throughout Africa, Italian Foreign Minister Luigi in Maio said on Monday, he wanted to establish an international task force to fight threats.
US Secretary Antony Blinken, spoke after a meeting in Italy aimed at renewing efforts to combat Islamic militants, said he supported Italian initiative.

The coalition said in a statement that it also welcomed new members to the Central African, Congo, Mauritania and Yemeni groups – to join 78 countries and five organizations that have become theirs.
In Maio did not provide further details about what the proposed African assignment will do.
