New Delhi: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has made the first decision to spread special technical wings to build certain roads and legs along the actual control line to accelerate the project connectivity with its posts in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh.
This step, which was approved by the UNI Ministry of Home, came in the midst of a military deadlock with China in the East Ladakh area.
Official sources told PTI that the border force, ITBP, had taken “challenges” to build four of the 32 roads under the Phase-II of the Indo-Chinese border road project and two out of a total of 18 18 feet transfers approved for the government.
