Chennai: Sales of multiple housing units in Chennai in the last three months.
But the new launch fell by 4% in the Chennai real estate market during the same period, a report by property consultants had found.
Report by Property Consultant Anarock Pvt Ltd said that Chennai saw 3,405 housing units sold in Q3 (July – September) this year.
In the previous quarter (April to June), 1,590 units were sold.
The new launch saw a drop of 4%.
While the city has 2,980 new housing units launched in the third quarter, it was 3.110 during the Q2 this year.
Only Chennai recorded a decline in new launches in this country during the third quarter than Q2 among the top seven cities including MMR, NCR, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
