Jammu: Governor Lieutenant Kashmir and Kashmir Manoj Sinha stressed on the need to revive the glory of J & K like that “always becomes a big center of Sanskrit”.
“Like Banaras, J & K always becomes a big center of Sanskrit.
It is our collective responsibility to revive its glory.
It is important for us to create opportunities for the preservation and promotion of our civilization values,” Sinha said when he put the foundation stone new building Chudamani Sanskrit Sanshan at J & K Basohli belt.
He said Sanskrit had “the only language” in a country that brings together different areas and creates close relationships between Gurus and students.
“The values of Sanskrit are also recognized by great personalities such as Albert Einstein, Oppenheimer, and Max Muller,” he said.

“It should be our efforts that Sanskrit is taught in school according to modern needs,” he added.
LG also put the e-foundation of the water sports center in Ranjit Sagar Dam, must be completed at a cost of Rs 3 Crore in March, 2022 and launched ‘Divyang Sahayak’ – an initiative to provide prosthetic assistance to those in need.
He said the sports center at Ranjit Sagar Dam will provide many opportunities for boys and women in various sports disciplines, in addition to producing employment roads for local populations.
He said the inauguration of various projects in Basohli showed “firmly firmly from the UT government to economic, cultural and social development” cities and adjoining areas.
“We made efforts to revive the historical glory of Basohli and to promote it as a unique goal for water sports with advanced facilities in the water sports center in Srinagar, providing all resources needed for sports talent,” said Sinha.
Citing the Archaeological Department report, Sinha said it was the uniqueness and vitality of Basohli’s art who even after centuries, researchers were working on their origin and further development.
