Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir government has given ahead for the establishment of the State Investigation Agency (SIA) to effectively investigate terror related cases and coordinate with central agencies.
The Department of Houses Jammu and Kashmir in a command incurred on Monday said SIA, which will be led by the Director, will be mandated to investigate terror violations such as terror finance and false propaganda and those who are under the law (UPA).
The Counter Kashmir and Jammu Intelligence Unit, both under the CID Police Department, will also be a new police station to register cases related to terror, he said.
The Cid’s head will be the director of the former Offisio Sia, the command word.
According to the order, responsible for the police station will directly intimate in intimate immediately after registering a terror related case and about such cases where each surface of terrorism relations during the investigation.
If there are cases not taken by Nia, Director General of Police (DGP), related to gravity of violations and progress probes, will determine the consultation in vain whether it is suitable to be investigated by the body and transfer probe, he said.
“However, if there are differences of opinion, the DGP must make a decision, while recording the reason for writing,” the command word.
If the case is not submitted to SIA and the local police continues to investigate it, the police headquarters will ensure that SIA is informed about progress in periodic investigations, he said.
Providing the advantage to SIA, the command says if the agency argues that a violation is related to the “scheduled crime” has committed, it can register the FIR that tells the DGP.
The command says special incentives of 25% of basic payments must be paid to employees posted in SIA.
Scheduled crime, which has been stored in the SIA list, including those registered under the Law of the explosion, UPA and ACT atomic energy.
Anti-piracy, terror conspiracy, terror financing and terrorism related to narcotics, related to terrorism and kidnapping and murder are also among the cases of scheduled crimes.
Among other violations mentioned in violations scheduled for SIA is terrorism related to theft and extortion, ATM and bank robbery, calling weapons and cases of terrorism robbery and cases related to propaganda, creating false narratives, deployment spread, distributed against the Indian Union.
