However, this is the second highest day jab given in the district.
With more than 79,000 vaccine doses managed on August 3, the first mega drive at Uttar Pradesh, Ghaziabad not only topped the country but also the country.
On Friday, the maximum number of 3,005 vaccines was given at Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan in Morta.
In many centers of more than 1,000 doses given.
The source said that until 3pm when around 40,000 doses were given, Chief Medical Officer Dr.
Bhavtosh Shankhdhar had sent a message to all Incharges centers to speed up the vaccination process.
However, the main complaint is the slow function of the Cowin portal where the details of each recipient are recorded before managing the dose.

When the application is running in so many places it is expected to run slowly, but sometimes stop working at all, postponing the registration process, “He added.
The recipient must wait more than two hours for vaccines in many centers, including a joint district hospital in Sanjay Nagar.
Meanwhile, the mega vaccination drive at GB Nagar has a target to vaccinate around 17,000 people on Friday.
The district, however, exceeded the target with a large margin and dosage given to 29,842 people.
Of these, 25,160 people were vaccinated in 114 government centers.
