Berlin: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz swore on Wednesday to win the war against the Pandemic Coronavirus, begging Germany in his first main address to Parliament to be vaccinated as the only way out of the crisis.
“I tell our citizens, ‘It will get better, yes we will win the war against this pandemic with the biggest determination, and yes we will win this fight, we will overcome the crisis,” Scholz said on Wednesday.
He said there was no “no red line” for his government in handling the fourth wave of pandemic, which experts were mostly driven by a relatively high percentage of citizens who were not vaccinated.
