Ranchi: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) plans to hold an intermediary matriculation and examination from March 25 and so on, said Chairman Jac Kumar Mahto on Thursday.
The Chairperson issued a statement after the meeting with the Minister of Education Jagarnath Mahto.
The Minister of Education directed Mahto to conduct an examination and stated the results on time.
The minister said, “I have issued a direction needed to the chairman and now he is to prepare a schedule and do the exam.
Examination tends to be in offline mode and all Covid control steps will be followed into the handle.” Mahto said that the state government direction would be followed but it would be difficult to hold a test in the center of the house.
“We have signaled the authorities regarding the challenge of establishing a home center,” he added.
He further said, “Taking an examination in the center of the house will mean that the number of centers will be around 3,600, which is quite large.
In addition, there are schools that are about 100 km from safe storage such as banks where the question letters need to be saved.” Meanwhile, a group of government school teachers, who tried to meet the Minister of Education on Thursday with their requests for their wage increases, were reprimanded by the last to stay away from school when the class was underway.
The minister has asked them to send a delegation of five members to him on Sunday.
