Jaipur: Jaipur Located Village in Jaipur, Jalsu Panchayat Samitu has been declared as the first “ODF Plus” village on Thursday, stated a press record issued by the district administration.
The Central Government Team along with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jaipur Zila Parish Pooja Parth and other officers checked the work of solid and liquid waste management and the cleanliness level at Gram Panchayat on Thursday.
After inspection, the village is declared as free defecation (ODF) plus.
ODF Plus is an extension of the ODF program under the mission of Swachh Bharat.
The aim is to maintain the ODF program and to take solid and liquid waste management.
According to a statement issued by the District Administration, a resolution was forwarded in a round voice by Jahota Gram Panchayat to declare the Gram Panchayat as ODF Plus in front of all officers.
Anupama, Director, Swachh Bharat Mission, Indian government and adviser SBM Ashish Sadhu visited Gram Panchayat.
The team conducted an intensive tour of Pan Panchayat, Jahota, and examined solid and liquid waste management work under the Mission of Swachh Bharat (rustic).
Apart from CEO Pooja Parth, additional CEO of Deepanshu Sangwan, Parag Chaudhary, State Nodal State Chaudhary, Noday Kumar Sharma and Nodal In-Charge (Zila Parishad) Verma Harisma is also present.
