Bhubaneswar: Chief Administrator Jagannath Temple Krisan Kumar has made a presentation of the Heritage Heritage Heritage Heritage Project Ambitious State in front of the National Monument Authority (NMA) in Delhi and urges them to give approval for the implementation of a smooth project.
On February 8, NMA has attracted a controversial heritage legacy regulation for Puri Jagannath’s temple after strong hatred of various quarters, including BJD and BJP leaders in the state.
The Chairman of the Minister of Naveen Patnaik has also expressed his strong displeasure.
Furthermore, the Temple Government has requested approval from various state and central institutions, including NMA under the ancient monument and the ACT Archaeological Monument (Amasr), 2010 for smooth implementation of the Heritan corridor project around the Jagannath Temple.
Kumar visited Delhi last week and gave the direction of NMA officials about the importance of the inheritance corridor project.
“Many legal permits are needed for legacy corridor projects.
We have received approval and are waiting for others, including NMA.
I will not say NMA approval has been postponed.
This is an official procedure, and we hope to get approval immediately,” Kumar said.
The main administrator said the project tender was completed and the work order was issued.
“There is no delay in the progress of the project,” Kumar said.
Sources said the state government was feared because any central regulations would have a negative impact on the ongoing development around the Jagannath Temple.
The draft drawn by the regulation has proposed to ban the construction of a 100 meter radius from the Jagannath Temple and limit construction, reconstruction, repair and renovation for a radius of 300 meters.
Inheritance corridor projects, which will be implemented at a cost of almost Rs 800 Crore at a 75-meter radius of the temple, pressurized on the development of the inheritance corridor component, the reception center of Shree Jagannath, facilities for temple worshipers and development.
This project is part of the augmentation of basic facilities and the development of a heritage and architecture scheme (Abada) to develop the castle as a “world class heritage city”.
