KOLKATA: West Bengal governor Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and main minister Mamata Banerjee to critique the devastation brought on by cyclone Yaas, officials explained.
The assembly will be scheduled to be kept in Kalaikunda at Paschim Medinipur district Friday day following PM Modi undertakes a aerial survey of the impacted regions, they explained.

The ministry has set West Bengal’s declines because of cyclone Yaas at Rs 15,000 crore.
Announcing a relief package of Rs 1,000 crore, ” she said her administration will operate a’Duare Tran’ (relief in doorsteps) programme to the affected folks.
She also has ordered an inquiry from the finance division to the collapse of many embankments, roads and bridges which were built after super cyclone Amphan struck the country in May this past year.
