Jaipur: Ten Police of Shahpura Police Station was injured after a truck that quickly hit their jeep near Dudu early Friday morning.
Police officials said that the police party was on his way to the Narena area for legal and order tasks.
“There was a large protest that was performed by the locals in the Narena area after rape and murdering a little girl.
Police personnel from several district police stations were called as a reinforcement there,” an official said.
The incident occurred in front of Flyover Dudu where a truck was quickly hit one side of the police jeep.
According to officials, 10 police officers including the Station House Officer (SHO) from the Shahpura police station were injured in the accident.
The injured police were taken to the nearest hospital, where doctors referred them to SMS hospitals for further treatment.
Police supervisors, Rural Jaipur, Shankar Dutt Sharma told Ti several police experienced a broken bone but everything was safe.
“All the police are stable and the doctors say that they will be immediately dismissed from the hospital,” Sharma said.
What was injured was registered by police as Sho Vijendra Singh, Head of Concents Ram Avtar, Shiv Raj, Ram Niwas, Dharmendra, Jagve, and Nihal, Constables Dhara Singh, Vijesh, and Latal.
Sho has been sustained injury in his nose, while Shiv Raj has an injury on his head, Nihal and Dharmendra have an injury to the hands and arms.
The accident changed the vehicle to a crushed mass.
