Jaipur: Jaipur police on Sunday held a 16-year-old boy for allegedly harassing a 4 year old girl.
The police claimed the boy was a relative of the little girl.
The girl on Saturday had filed firs in the Vidhyadhar Nagar police station where she was alleged that the boy harassed his daughter on July 11.
The girl had revealed her trials to the family a few days after the incident occurred, following them immediately approached the police.
The FIR was registered under Section 354 (assault or criminal to women with the intention of angered collapse) from the IPC and other relevant parts of the protection of children from the actions of sexual violations (Pocso).
Given the seriousness of violations, the investigation was handed over to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Deepakelwal.
“We have detained small children and investigations on this case ongoing,” Khandelwal said.
A senior official told Ti that the police recorded a statement in this case.
