Jaipur: Jaipur’s rural police on Friday arrested a 25-year-old man who had lured a four-year-old girl and took him with the side of the pool in his bicycle where he allegedly raped and strangled him to death.
Police supervisors, Jaipur Rural, Shankar Dutt Sharma, said that the defendant was identified as One Suresh Hall.
The alleged murder and rape had surprised the whole village after the girl’s body was found in a muddy place beside the pool on Thursday morning.
The large crowd gathered outside the Narena police station, demanding the arrest of the suspect.
“The child knew Suresh because he used the same road near his house, to travel every day.
On Wednesday night, he kidnapped him with his luring him in his bicycle, promised to take him to his family’s warehouse.
He took him to a pool where he raped him And then kill him, “Sharma said.
The police said that on Wednesday, the girl’s father had gone to the warehouse located nearly a few km from his house.
He also wanted to go there before he met the defendant in the middle.
The researchers said that the defendant promised a child that he would safely take him to the warehouse in his own bicycle.
The police said that Prima Facie, death seemed to be due to the strangulation, however, they were waiting for the post-mortem report from the medical council to confirm the properties of the injury and the right cause of death.
A team consisting of 700 police personnel included three additional SPS, five SPS deputy and 26 shos, had fanned several fronts to track the defendant who had gained the aroma of police pursuit.
The police team clung to the Suresh trail after all the pieces of some evidence indicated the possibility of involvement.
“The defendant never used a telephone because the track was a difficult task,” Sharma told Toi, added that the protesters had given the local police an ultimatum to arrest allegations on Friday at 8pm.
Jaipur’s rural police said that they had spoken with protesters to finally claim the body now that the defendant was arrested.
Officials said that the compensation of Rs 2.5 lakh would be given to the girl’s family.
“This is a violent violation, therefore, we will send a chargesheet as early as possible.
We have also completed that a special prosecutor will be arranged in this case,” Sharma said.
