Jaipur: 62-yr-old is reduced after touching the electricity pole

Jaipur: A 62-year-old man is overtaken by a tense pole of 1,100kv in the Bhatta Basti area on Sunday morning.
The police identified the victim as one of Majid Ahmad, a JP Colony resident in the Bhatta Basti police station area.
According to the police, the victim has retired after working with a Civic body.
He used to feed pigeons on vacant land after visiting the nearest Dargah.
According to the assistant sub-inspector, Ramesh Chand, the electric current passed the pole when Ahmad touched it and died.
Police sources say that there are several electrical mistakes in high tension cables because electricity passes through the pole and cement platform below it since Saturday night.
When Ahmad arrived on Sunday morning to take a walk in the morning, he came into contact with it and died because the area around the pole was wet because of the drizzle last night.
One arm of Ahmad was completely scorched in the accident and he almost 80% burned injury.
He was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead by a doctor.
Locals were present at the scene told the Bhatta Basti police station about the incident, and a team was sent to the place.
The body was handed over to the family after post-Mortem at Kanwatia Hospital.
Until the afternoon, the victim’s family did not file a complaint.
“Every morning he visits Dargah and then goes to the nearest land in the Amanishah area to feed Merpati,” said a police officer.
