Jaipur: Police Jhotwara is investigating the case of 67 upscale cellphones worth Rs 83 Lakh which is allegedly exchanged with a copy during transit between two e-commerce company centers.
The police said that FIR was registered on Friday by the official transportation unit and the company’s warehousing located in Jhotwara.
According to FIR, cellphones were sent to the company loading station located in Achrol for shipping.
As soon as the cellphone reaches the company’s achrol facilities, all orders are canceled as part of the alleged conspiracy.
The cellphone was then sent from Achrol Station to the company Jhotwara unit, also known as co-loading stations.
Staff conducted a routine inspection of the product after shipping on August 14.
They found cellular packages to be destroyed and damaged.
Closer checks reveal that all cellphones have a similar equipment identity number.
This raises suspicion that is probably the original cellphone exchanged with a copy of the duplicate.
Station House Officer, Jhotwara, Vikram Singh, said that the FIR was registered in this case and the police team was investigating this case.
The researchers have not ruled out the involvement of the driver’s driver in this case.
