Jaipur: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday claimed to have damaged the corruption racket at Jaipur Municipal Corporation (larger) and captured three people including corporate financial advisors and two intermediaries.
Sleuth stated that the racket was involved in demanding and accepting bribes as a substitute for tenders, cleaning bills, and inspection work from various locations from the contractor.
Two middlemen used to accept bribes in the name of the company’s senior officials.
So far the detective has confiscated almost Rs 27.82 lakh from the intermediary accused, the house of Dhan Kumar in Sidharth Nagar, a registration paper of more than 10 farms and home paper and flats.
“We have also recovered several papers lasting 10 different plots including agricultural land,” said a senior officer.
Discuss Details, Bajrang Singh, Additional SP Special Investigation Unit (SIU) ACB, said, “For a long time it appears that some JMC (bigger) officers through intermediaries, Dhan Kumar and Anil Kumar accepted bribes.

Thus, based on specific inputs, we have arrested the defendant identified as Achaleshwar Meena, financial advisors for JMC (larger) and two intermediary Dhan Kumar Jain and Anil Kumar Agarwal .
“Defendant, Meena through two middlemen used to improve bribery and percentage of various contractors.
“It is also seen that bribes are circulated to senior ranking officials too.
We are working on this case and hope to make more arrests,” Singh added.
When contacted by Dinesh Mn, the Additional Director General, ACB, said, “Our team has witnessed their activities through supervision.
So far three people have been arrested and we investigate the role of other senior officers and collect evidence of them to make further arrests.” However , ACB hasn’t found a recovery from Achleshwar Kumar Meena’s financial advisory home.
