Jaipur: ACB found Rs 40 lakh cash and documents associated with several properties during a search at the residence of regional pollution control officers in Jaipur on Saturday.
ACB said that on Thursday they had recovered RS1.60 lakh from Hansram Kasana in Bharatpur.
The agency said they had specific information about the case of assets accused of being disproportionate and then searched at Malviya Nagar’s house located here.
Officials said that ACB had also explored a suspected transaction worth Rs 6 Crore during the search.
In addition to cash traces and paper from RS 6 Crore alleged transactions, ACB claims to have found documents related to some properties including villas and plots.
“Investigation of this case is underway.
We suspect that officials who are currently posted in Bharatpur are allegedly collecting properties that are several times higher than the known source of income,” an official said.
ACB officials, as part of their investigation, will check the net value of recovery made during search from his home.
