JAIPUR/AJMER: Jaipur police on Monday raided a godown in Transport Nagar around Beawar Road here and captured 117 cartons of medication taken for intoxication costing Rs 11 crore. The town authorities, which completed the raid with the support of both Ajmer’s Ramganj authorities, claimed to have subjected the drug racket which was likely to deliver the captured consignment to many areas throughout the nation, targeting youths. The movement came a day after Jaipur police boarded a chemist store at Vishwakarma and captured intoxicating drugs worth Rs 5 crore. Police allegedly received signs from the revelation created in Jaipur in the inventory of intoxicating medication in Ajmer. “So much, two men are detained — Mobin and Kalu — in the place while the alleged mastermind Rahul Chauhan and warehouse proprietor Latif have been all on the run. Their homes are being hunted and we discovered significant clues that could cause additional seizures. The warehouse has been taken on lease by Latif to maintain his merchandise, for Rs 3,000 a month,” explained Ajmer authorities. A group by Jaipur commissionerate about Monday morning contacted Ajmer and they combined with the group of Ramganj authorities, raided the godown and a few stores at Vimla Market at Ajmer. “The seized drugs have been discovered to be of 3 firms and important evidence was gathered from the Vimla Market stores,” explained Jaipur authorities, that has passed over the captured drugs to Ajmer authorities. Authorities are currently taking a look at the system that provides these intoxicating medications to clients. The medications have been provided in a number of towns throughout the transporter. “Authorities are identifying the system spread in towns and the way these intoxicating drugs have been secured,” explained Jaipur authorities. Sources said that authorities obtained the tip-off on Sunday when they captured a consignment in Jaipur out of a loading speed. They are searching for the system that provides intoxicating medication in Rajasthan.
