Jaipur: Builder has accused that he received a call of extortion of Rs 1 Crore from the Gangster Prison Lawrance Bishnoi.
In accordance with the FIR registered at the Jawahar Nagar Police Station, Builder claimed that he received whatsapp calls on Tuesday.
The caller claims he became Bishnoi and asked Rs 1 Crore.
He threatened the builder to arrange the money in two days if not, he was ready for a shooter.
Employers claim he received a message also from the same number.
He then stopped attending whatsapp calls from an unknown telephone number.
Additional DCP (East) Rajarshi Raj Varma said that the police were investigating this case.
“We are checking who makes a call for a complainant,” he said.
The police have not ruled out the possibility of some damage behind the alleged call of extortion.
Investigators also saw the possibility of rivals trying to intimidate entrepreneurs.
The source said that the feared gangster had been in prison for the past few months.
“Gang Bishnoi doesn’t have a big fort at Jaipur.
But we are investigating this problem and investigating all angles to see how he made a call.
Technical investigation will reveal many things,” an official gives information about the condition of anonymity.
The businessman told the police that he was sacred because he lived with his family in the city and the caller specifically warned him that he should not involve the police in this case.
“All major gangsters operating in the city have been inactive or in a different prison.
While we are investigating this case, it must be determined if the caller does want extortion money or just try to scare the complainant,” the official was added.
