Jaipur: The city police arrested the main aide Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for allegedly helping in the calling of extortion.
The additional police commissioner, Ajay Pal Lamba, said that the police arrested Anand Shandaliya (50), because it helped Bishnoi in making the existion call to the city-based building.
Bishnoi was taken to Jaipur at a production warrant from Tihar Jail, New Delhi, along with the Prianya Friday Sampat Nehra.
“Shandaliya knew the builder and continued his information to Gang Bishnoi.
We have conducted supervision after the builder filed fir,” said Lamba, adding that the defendant previously worked with Gangster Slain Anandpal Singh.
Police said that Shandaliya was previously captured by the Special Operations Group (SOG) as one of the leaders of the racketing racket.
“He was sent to the ajmer prison where he hit the relationship with Bishnoi,” said Lamba, added that the police had described the main network of Bishnoi in the city.
Builder has filed a complaint at the Jawahar Nagar Police Station on September 7, alleged that he had received whatsapp calls from unknown numbers.
The caller introduced himself as Bishnoi and demanded extension of Rs 1 Crore.
A special police team was formed and found that the call was made of mandoli prison by the Sampat Nehra.
Both Nehra and Bishnoi’s boss were arrested.
