Jaipur: The police on Monday damaged the gang involved in stealing a pick-up vehicle on request and arrest five defendants, including a 19-year-old woman and her 70-year-old father.
DCP (West), Richa Tomar said Muskan Bano (19) and his father Abdul Majeed (70) was held because of alleged involvement in some car theft.
“Abdul and music sell this vehicle is only around Rs 50,000,” he said.
Other gang members will send pictures of targeted vehicles to music and majeed.
After a customer approves the vehicle, Majeed will give a nod to another gang member to steal a particular vehicle.
“The gang has done more than 15 car theft in Jaipur.
We have formed a special team to follow the existence of gangs,” Tomar said.
In addition to the duo, the police have registered accused of Maliram Meena (21), Pawan Meena (26), Abdul Aziz (54) and the police have also held up minor in this case.
Tomar said that in April alone, the defendant had stolen as many as eight vehicles.
Police Jaipur said that car theft cases were reported in the Jhotwara area, Bhankrota and Kardhani in recent months.
“We have learned that Maliram Meena is associated with the lifting of other vehicles Narendra in prison.
The last is also a lifter of famous vehicles,” an official said.
Meena hit a relationship with Muskan and his father.
“Meena will click on a picture of the vehicle targeted at the Duo in Pali.

The defendant will deliver a stolen vehicle to Abdul in Pali.
From there, Abdul and Muskan will sell it to customers.
