Jaipur: The decision of the Governor of Kalaraj Mishra to continue to process the ongoing recruitment at Harideo University Joshi (HJU) Journalism and Mass Communication on Monday has provided controversy in the political circle.
Reacting to the letter on January 20, 2022, by former Education Minister Vasudev Devnani objected to the recruitment process initiated by HJU VC Om Thanvi at the end of his ownership FAG, Mishra issued an order to suspend another recruitment process than referring to a letter by Devnani.
Devnani argued that it was the practice that VC out could not take the main policy decision in the remaining three months of his tenure.
Through Thanvi for three years will take place on March 8 recruitment and change the Norms of UGC for recruitment.
Experts say that there are no rule books or laws that have provisions that VC out cannot start recruitment or make any policy decisions.
“In addition to several advisors issued by competent authorities, UGC has directed VCS not to make any policy decisions at the end of the FAG from their term .
Advisor for CM and Mla Sanyam Lodha Mandiri brought to Twitter to express their disagreement on the governor’s step.
“The right to keep the HJU recruitment process is mentioned in which laws? If a Chancellor (Governor) can appoint a Chancellor’s representative in the remaining one month from their term, in the same spirit can VC does not issue his duties?” Lodha tweeted.
