Jaipur: To protect consumers not to be deceived, the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) will upload a list of multi-floor buildings built on small plots.
The Civic body will mention a list of approved projects in each zone.
In addition, it will display a list of illegal and closed apartments on its website.
The decision was taken after an increase in illegal projects on small plots in many colonies outside the city including Jagatpura, Prithvi Raj Nagar and others.
A official said, “During the past one and a half years, JDA has forbidden the construction of a smaller plot.

“According to Jda Records, in the past two years, 84 illegal buildings were sealed.

Of the 16 zones of JDA, this illegal colony has mushroomed at 10 zones in the last 14 months.
A senior official JDA said, “Our agenda is to act against the mafia that use agricultural land for non-agricultural and commercial purposes after developing colonies illegally.
We have made strict decisions to curb training,” he said.
JDA has also initiated action to abandon the ownership of landowners who have developed colonies in agricultural land illegally.
The commissioner zone has also written to Tehsildars and sub-division officers for the same thing.
A official said, “To prevent such practices in the future, the process of canceling ownership has been carried out based on part 175 of Rajasthan Tenancy Act against land holders.” JDA in a recent meeting also reviewed the status of a private developer colony that did not develop facilities after obtaining an approved colony of civilian bodies.
